GRI, IIRC Establish "Integrated Reporting" Group

The Global Reporting Initiative and the International Integrated Reporting Council have formed a "Corporate Leadership Group on integrated reporting" to communicate with companies on how to navigate the "sometimes confusing landscape" of global corporate reporting standards by integrating their disclosure on financial and "sustainability" issues.

WHO Seeks Higher Taxes on Tobacco

As the UN agency continues to expand its focus on noncommunicable diseases and unhealthy -practices, the World Health Organization (WHO) has published a report calling on countries around the world to raise taxes on tobacco to increase government revenue and to deter people from using these products.
