Report Calls for "Implosion" of Fossil Fuel Companies

Researchers from the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research assert that the only way in which governments can meet their goal to limit global warming under the UN climate deal agreed in Paris last year is a "controlled implosion" of the fossil fuel industry and immediate replacement of such fuels with renewable energy sources.
