NGO Pressures Companies on Supply-Chain Labor Efforts

Executive Director of the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre Phil Bloomer writes that the initiative KnowtheChain is rating corporations on their efforts to investigate and police supply chains to root out employers who use forced labor and is pressuring them to create "grievance mechanisms" to provide remedies to alleged victims of human-rights violations.
