NGO Calls for UK Legal Tools for Overseas BHR Violations

The CORE Coalition has published a report calling for the UK to develop enhanced legal tools with which it can threaten to prosecute criminally UK corporations that allegedly commit overseas violations of the business and human rights ("BHR") agenda and that would ease the burdens overseas plaintiffs face in bringing lawsuits against such corporations in Britain.
