NGOs Applaud EU Committee Vote on Conflict Minerals

A group of nongovernmental organizations are praising the European Parliament's Development Committee for voting in favor of binding restrictions on European companies' use of "conflict minerals" from Africa and seeking to force companies to report how they avoid using these minerals in their supply chains.
