Hungary Mulls Push for EU Treaty Change on Migration

ECJ Adviser Finds Insufficient Support for Terror Sanctions

Court of Justice of the EU (ECJ) Advocate General Eleanor Sharpston has advised the ECJ that the EU's listing of the organizations Hamas and the Tamil Tigers as terrorist groups subject to sanctions are invalid because their inclusion was based on "facts and evidence found in press articles and information from the internet."

Switzerland Advances Compromise Law on EU Migration

Reuters reports that the Swiss Parliament has advanced legislation that would seek to pacify Swiss citizens who voted in a 2014 referendum to impose quotas on migrants from EU countries by requiring companies to first consider locals for job openings before looking outside the country.
