EU Parliament Agrees to Baltic Fishing Scheme

The European Parliament has reached an agreement with the EU Commission and Council on a regional Common Fisheries Policy for the Baltic Sea that the relevant rapporteur asserted would ensure "sustainable, reasonable and economically viable" fishing in the region.
