ECDC and Africa CDC Launch New Initiative

The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) and the Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) have launched a new partnership initiative that will be funded by the EU and will facilitate surveillance and disease intelligence with the goal of strengthening the capacity of Africa CDC to prepare for and public health threats.
