UN Report Concludes IS Committed Genocide Against Yazidis

The crimes of the Islamic State (IS/ISIS/ISIL) have been designated genocide, according to report findings from conclusive evidence collected and reviewed by UNITAD (United Nations Investigative Team to Promote Accountability for Crimes Committed by Da’esh/Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant), with the head of UNITAD scheduled to assume a chief prosecutor role at the International Criminal Court (ICC), the body to which the UN report recommends prosecution of the IS perpetrators.
