The seven perpetrators of a high-casualty attack in 2016 on a Dhaka cafe have been sentenced to death by a court in Bangladesh, although three years after the assault on the Hokey Artisan Cafe, the Bangladeshis government disputes the IS claim of responsibility and, instead, maintains that the perpetrators were part of a homegrown Islamist extremist group called the Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB).
