Turkey's Islamist regime took another step towards restoring the Ottoman caliphate, with president's inauguration of an Islamic religious school at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Hagia Sophia Byzantine Christian Cathedral that was converted in 2020 to an active mosque, with the Ayasofya Fatih Madrassa (Conquest Religious School) as the latest step in the NATO member-state's declared policy of reviving the Ottoman imperial past and to abrogate the Turkey as a secular republic.
