OIC and EU Reps Meet to Explore Partnerships and Common Ground

Representatives of the 57-member-state Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (“OIC”) met with EU representatives last week in Brussels for what was billed as the first High Level Consultation, to explore possible partnerships in common interest areas, with the EU focused on external action and humanitarian policy and the OIC also adding protection of Muslim minorities and combatting Islamophobia to the list of priorities.
