Vatican Pontifical Academy Embraces UN's Sustainable Development Agenda

According to the National Catholic Register, the Vatican's Pontifical Academy of Sciences, governors from the Pan-Amazon region, and United Nations' officials have signed a declaration of commitment to sustainable development in the Amazon, including the promotion of a "green" economy, socio-economic inclusion, and expansion of the Paris Agreement on Climate Change.
