UN Rights Observers Criticize Argentina’s “Failure” on Abortion Bill

UN human rights observers have criticized the Argentinian Senate for failing to comply with the global “sexual and reproductive rights” agenda by declining to loosen the country’s restrictions on abortion, linking the decision to “dangerous rhetoric that there is a symmetrical balance between the legal rights of a pregnant woman and fetal interests.”
