NATO will Increase High-Readiness Force to over 300,000 Troops

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said the transatlantic military alliance will boost its high-readiness forces to more than 300,000 troops from its current 40,000 troops which is the largest increase since the Cold War with the initial goal strengthening its eastern defenses and adopting a new model for protecting them.

G7 unveils $600B plan to combat China’s Belt and Road

The G7 group during their summit in the German Alps unveiled a $600 billion global infrastructure initiative named the “Partnership for Global Infrastructure” to counter China’s push to exert political and commercial influence through their Belt and Road initiative which finances roads, railways, and ports in particular in Africa and Asia.

President Peter Wood of the National Association of Scholars (NAS) has written a paper titled “Regime Change: Repelling the DEI Assault on Higher Education.” calling for a ban of “diversity, equity and inclusion” (DEI) arguing that it poses « peril » to scholarship, incites racism and violates three Constitutional amendments.
