UNHCR: Australia Must Continue Services for Refugees

The Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has expressed “grave concern” over the Australian government’s decision to close an offshore refugee processing center, urging the government to carry out its international obligations to provide “viable, humane solutions," as well as medical and security services, to the refugees in Papua New Guinea.
