According to Reuters, Depite Taliban leader and Interior Ministry chief Sirajuddin Haqqanithe being under United Nations (U.N.) and United States (U.S.) sanctions and wanted by the FBI, the U.N has proposed to pay nearly $6 million the Taliban Interior Ministry staff to subsidize the monthly wages of Taliban fighters guarding U.N. facilities.
