Ban Appoints Envoys on El Niño, Climate Change

World Bank Report Predicts Costly Climate Catastrophes

The World Bank has published a report predicting that, with insufficient action from governments, the expense of catastrophic impacts of climate change and the growing world population will rise exponentially in the next half-century and calling on authorities around the world to transform their urban and coastal planning to account for these risks.
